There is a heightened sense of both vulnerability and confidence on Dean Parker’s second EP record Is this Learning? that cannot be escaped. Every song lyrically encapsulates a question that can only be born from insecurity and unsureness in the modern world. Sonically though, there is 100% confidence and Dean’s aim is true. This is music for those who need to connect again. Listen with the person you need the most. Cry to it alone. Scream it out loud in a room full of humans to learn that others are going through the same things as you. Remember what counts the most.
